LEAF’s new commercial district venue set to open

More details about a new multi-purpose venue from the team behind Bold Street’s LEAF have been revealed.

Opening next week, ‘One Fine Day’ will feature an all-day menu focusing on whole foods and drinks with an outdoor seating area and a large events space.

The new venue is set to open in the Grade II-listed Cotton House next Wednesday (27 September) and has billed as a “relaxed and inclusive space for people to socialise, hang-out, work and celebrate, every day of the week”.

The LEAF group runs three other café, bar and arts spaces in Liverpool including OH ME OH MY and The Garden cafe at FACT.

Natalie Haywood, managing director of the LEAF group, says: “We have been looking for a location in the commercial district for some time, and knew as soon as we saw the Cotton House site that it would be the perfect space for us.

“We are thrilled to be able to breathe new life into a building with such great character and history, in this part of the city.”

Colin Forshaw, head of property at Bruntwood, which owns the building, adds: “LEAF is one of Liverpool’s most successful and popular independent brands and we are delighted that Natalie and the team have chosen the Cotton Exchange as the home of their latest venue.

“One Fine Day will bring a new vibrancy to this part of the commercial district and is likely to become a destination for workers and residents alike, as well as attracting a host of special events, throughout the day and evening.”
