Legacie Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the business dedicated to supporting local organisations tackling social, educational and community challenges. Proceeds raised at the inaugural gala, held in Liverpool city centre this week, will benefit charities across the North West.

The event was attended by leading figures from the region’s business community and highlighted both Morley’s and Legacie’s commitment to making a difference beyond business success.

Charities including Alder Hey, The Inclusive Hub and the Liverpool FC Foundation will be the beneficiaries of the fundraising. The evening was hosted by Cold Feet actor John Thomson and included a performance from iconic 90’s band The Lightning Seeds.

John Morley says: “Legacie has always committed to supporting those on our doorstep in need long before launching Legacie Foundation. The interest and funds generated by last night’s event show that this is just the beginning of the Legacie Foundation.

“I’m excited to see this grow going forward so we can continue to help more people across the north west. It is deeply important to us as a business to give back to the communities in which we work.”

“I’m really proud that we’ve been able to support amazing organisations like Alder Hey, the LFC Foundation, and The Inclusive Hub. The money raised by Legacie and our fantastic partners is going to make a huge difference to people right across our communities.”

The Legacie Foundation will invest the funds raised in this event into a range of charities operating within the North West region. The Foundation forms part of Legacie’s broader mission to integrate social responsibility into the core of their business strategy.

Legacie partnered with RWInvest, SAL, Vita, 18rec and Maclec.
