Liverpool-based property firm Legacie has announced the completion of Embankment Exchange, its latest residential development and its first technical skyscraper in Greengate, Salford.
Embankment comprises 301 high-quality apartments across two towers – Irwell Tower (35 storeys) and Greengate Tower (15 storeys) – connected by a concierge foyer, with a two-storey basement housing a residents’ car park and cycle store.
The development features a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, with residential amenities including a state-of-the art spa with an indoor pool, a residents’ lounge with riverside views, work-from-home booths, a fully equipped gym, and 24/7 concierge. Externally, a large, landscaped communal courtyard provides a green space for residents to enjoy.
Located in Greengate and adjacent to the River Irwell, Embankment also features a riverside walkway, which is set to open upon completion of neighbouring developments.
Designed by Liverpool-based Falconer Chester Hall, Embankment is Legacie’s second major development in Greater Manchester, following the recent completion of Merchants Wharf in Salford. With further projects in the pipeline, the Liverpool developer continues to expand its footprint in the region.
Mike Rider, construction director at Legacie, says: “The completion of Embankment Exchange is a significant milestone for Legacie, marking our first technical skyscraper. This development reinforces our investment in Salford’s thriving residential market, delivering high-quality homes with exceptional amenities. We are proud to contribute to the regeneration of Greengate.”
Mike Gore, director at Falconer Chester Hall, adds: “From the outset, our aim was to create a striking and elegant architectural statement that takes full advantage of the riverside setting and spectacular views across the Irwell.
“Working closely with Legacie, we’ve delivered a high-quality façade using carefully selected materials that enhance the building’s contemporary aesthetic. It’s fantastic to see this scheme come to completion after years of hard work, providing generous, high-specification homes that complement the character of Greengate and contribute to the area’s ongoing transformation.”
All apartments have been fully sold through Legacie’s exclusive sales partner, RWinvest.
The development will be managed by Legacie’s in-house management team, which is now welcoming residents into their new homes.
