New Mossley Hill apartments offer ‘rare opportunity’ to rent near city’s top schools

An exclusive apartment development in the popular South Liverpool suburb of Mossley Hill is set to provide a rare opportunity to secure a rental home in an area that offers access to the city’s best state schools.

Crawford Gardens, a £4m development on Rose Lane from APG Capital, will provide 18 new homes in a market “starved of high-quality rental stock”, according to Rachael Doyle, associate director of the lettings agent Berkeley Shaw.

“Rose Lane has everything and can never satisfy the demand to live in the area, so we’re expecting the homes to go extremely quickly,” she says.

The popular road, with its rail station, array of independent shops, cafés and restaurants, and proximity to several large parks, also benefits from another key advantage: its location within a sought-after school catchment area.

Rachel adds: “For younger families in particular the seven larger two-bed apartments will allow them to get a foothold in the area and access its excellent primary and secondary schools.

“It’s ground zero for choice in that regard, with a mix of high-quality academies, faith schools and non-denominational schools all within a mile radius.”

Now available to rent from £995 pcm, the homes will be ready for occupation from 1 July.

The development – part new-build, part refurbishment of a former Edwardian social club – offers on-site parking and comprises three blocks with 11 one-bedroom and seven two-bedroom apartments.
