Househunters with a bigger budget than most are in for a treat as a Crosby estate agent lists three mansions for sale with a combined value of £3.1 million.
The dream homes, which boast seafront views, swimming pools, gymnasiums, cinema rooms and other luxury amenities, have been brought to market by Berkeley Shaw this week.
Potential buyers would share the same exclusive postcode as Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard and Jamie Carragher, and would live within touching distance of private schools, the prestigious West Lancashire golf club, Crosby and Blundellsands rail station, and a thriving restaurant and bar scene.
It’s the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic that Berkeley Shaw has listed three houses with an average price of £1m at the same time.
The most expensive home, ‘Warren House’, is on the market for a whopping £1,495,000 and is the former summer residence of the Blundell family. It retains many of its period features and boasts quality fittings throughout.
Warren House comprises a reception hall, three reception rooms, breakfast room, dining, kitchen and downstairs cloakroom. To the first floor, there are five bedrooms, the master bedroom having an en suite shower room and a family bathroom. The basement is currently in the process of being renovated.
The two other properties, which are both attracting bids of over £800,000, are located on St Anthony’s Road and Cheyne Close respectively. The Cheyne Close pad boasts a swimming pool and prominent beachfront views, whilst St Anthony’s is an Edwardian-style building with period features and a large garden.
John Baybut, managing director of Berkeley Shaw, says: “We are thrilled to be bringing these stunning homes to the market.
“It demonstrates the considerable weight of Blundellsands in being one of the most desirable places to live in the country, competing with the likes of Alderley Edge, Hale and the most affluent parts of London.
“Buyers are in for a real treat with the homes possessing breathtaking features together with private amenities. With an incredibly popular bar and restaurant scene, Blundellsands really does have the entire package. We are keen to hear from interested parties but I have a feeling it won’t be long before the properties are snapped up.
“It is the first time since before the pandemic that we have listed three houses within this price bracket at the same time. It shows major confidence in the area as one of the best places to live in the UK.”
Early this year Formby and Crosby were listed as ‘property hotspots’ following a survey of the most desirable places to live by Barratt Homes.
