A six-storey block of student accommodation could be built on Liverpool’s Smithdown Lane under new plans.
Manchester-based applicant G C Capital Limited is looking to create 12 new homes on a plot of land which was formerly occupied by corporation stables.
A planning application has been submitted to Liverpool City Council for the proposed development, which is close to an existing student accommodation complex and the Williamson Tunnels within the Edge Hill area.
R.A. Fisk & Associates Architects has designed the plans for the homes.
