Redwing, Warrington Housing Association (WHA) and Incrementum were named BTR Partnership of The Year at the recent Love to Rent Awards 2023.
Property professionals from across the country gathered in London on 3 November 2023 to celebrate and recognise the achievements of the build-to-rent (BTR) sector over the past 12 months.
Redwing, WHA and Incrementum received the prestigious award for their shared ambition to tackle the imbalance of supply versus demand of rental properties across Warrington, customer centricity and incredible results achieved.
Warrington Borough Council-owned Incrementum delivered 161 high-quality sustainable homes in two areas of Warrington – a mix of houses and apartments built on two former school sites: the former Foxwood Special School site in Birchwood, and the former Sycamore Lane Community Primary School site in Great Sankey.
Liverpool-based Redwing brought the development and properties to market, managing the entire marketing, letting and property management function in-house. Redwing achieved a 100% off-plan reservation rate within one month of launch at each phase and an above the national average re-let rate of 87%.
The Love to Rent judging panel said: “This partnership demonstrates the value that can be created by collaboration between organisations with a shared purpose and values. A not-for-profit organisation working alongside a housing association ensuring all profits are invested back within the community.
“What the judges felt shined out of this submission was both parties’ efforts to ensure the successful delivery of this scheme with their future residents at the centre of their plans.”
Jessica Turner, head of new business at Redwing, says: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be recognised nationally for our partnership with WHA and Incrememtum. Since 2021, Redwing has delivered an exceptional end to end property service, managing all marketing, lettings and property management on behalf of WHA and providing a first-class service to residents.
“We’re proud of all we’ve achieved by partnering with organisations like WHA and Incrementum, who share our vision to help more people access high quality and affordable homes and, as part of The Regenda Group, enable us to generate a profit to invest into local good causes.”
