A former police station on Copperas Hill could make way for more city centre student halls under new plans.
Boutique student accommodation provider Study Inn wants to build a six-storey development on the site.
The former police station went up for sale in 2015 after being deemed surplus to requirements by Merseyside Police.
Developer Study Inn offers students an inclusive package at its schemes with every room coming with its own bathroom and private kitchenette.
‘Superior’ rooms come with a La-Z-Boy chair, games console and a 42-inch television.
Study Inn, which has developments in Cambridge, Sheffield, Coventry and Cambridge, currently lists Liverpool as a ‘coming soon’ location on its website.
