Plans have been approved for a new mixed-use development on Rose Lane in Mossley Hill.

The scheme, which will be known as Roseville Place, will replace the existing buildings at 70 and 72 Rose Lane with nine apartments and ground-floor commercial space.

Falconer Chester Hall developed the plans in partnership with Roman Summer Associates Ltd on behalf of client Terence Lynch.

The new building will include a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments, with active frontages facing both Rose Lane and Pitville Avenue.

Plans also include lift access to every floor, a wheelchair-accessible apartment, secure cycle storage and electric vehicle charging points.

New dropped kerbs and tactile paving will be introduced to improve access to nearby public transport, while measures have been incorporated into the design to protect the privacy of neighbouring residents.
