The team behind popular Liverpool bar Berry and Rye are planning a new outdoor venue in the Baltic Triangle, named The Botanical Garden.

The new outdoor venue at 5 New Bird Street will open in May until September to take advantage of the summer weather. Named The Botanical Garden, it will serve alcoholic drinks including gin.

With a track record of popular bars in Liverpool including secretive whisky-themed Berry and Rye, The Botanical Garden will be a new addition to the team’s portfolio in the city. It will join other creative Baltic Triangle gardens such as Constellations and Camp and Furnace in offering an outdoor space in the area if a license application is successful.

The venue, 5 New Bird Street, is home to a warehouse and outdoor yard that has hosted a number of club nights including mUmU in recent years.

The team behind The Botanical Garden declined to comment, but say more details will be available soon.
