The International Mersey River Festival brought thousands of visitors to Liverpool’s waterfront for a day of fun, music, food, drink and dance.
Tall ships, yachts and boats were on display throughout the weekend, while Royal Navy and Royal Marines showcased their helicopters and diving tanks to the crowds. The days also included colourful street theatre, dancing and workshops as visitors enjoyed the riverside location.
The weekend also included the Music on the Waterfront festival, which saw local and national acts entertain crowds at a waterfront stage.
With watersport sessions and demonstrations, pirate-themed displays at Albert Dock and a Brouhaha Homecoming Parade, the weekend had activities for all the family.
