The Epstein Theatre’s Easter Panto, Beauty and the Beast, opens tomorrow (2 April) for a 10-day run.
The tale of a handsome prince who is turned into a beast by an enchantress will be told in traditional pantomime style in the ‘theatre in the sky’ on Hanover Street.
Former member of boy band 5ive, Ritchie Neville will star as Anton in the classic tale, while Grease is the Word finalist, Alison Crawford will also appear as Belle. Michael Chapman takes on the much-loved role of pantomime dame in the family-friendly production.
Ritchie Neville says: “I am really looking forward to being a part of Beauty & The Beast. This will be my first ever panto performance, so I am super excited. I love performing in Liverpool, whenever we have gigs in the city with the band, the crowd are always brilliant. You know you get a warm and lively audience in Liverpool so I know doing my first panto here is going to be a whole lot of fun!”
The Epstein Theatre Easter Panto will be performed between Thursday 2 April and Sunday 12 April, with afternoon and evening performances on all days. Beauty and the Beast tickets will cost £16.50 for adults and £14.50 for children, with a family ticket (two adults and two children) priced at £54.
