The first enquiries for apartments in Chancery House near Liverpool ONE have been registered – before work has even begun on renovation of the historic building.

The building, which is located near to the John Lewis Store on Paradise Street in the city centre, was the subject of planning approval for 37 apartments including a modern extension to the existing building. Work has not started on the development but the estate agent marketing the scheme says several enquiries have already came in for the one, two and three-bedroom apartments.

After being appointed to market the apartments, City Residential says: “Since announcing our appointment as sole selling agent for Chancery House in early January we have been overwhelmed with the amount of people wishing to register their early interest.  Despite us having very limited information at this stage, it is extremely encouraging to receive so much interest in what we believe will be one of the most prestigious apartment schemes in the City.”

Plans by architect Falconer Chester Hall were approved by Liverpool City Council’s planning committee last month for the scheme. Along with the apartments, the scheme also includes a ground floor shop and ‘artisan’ cafe.
