Historic half a million pound Georgian properties in Liverpool will go on sale in the next few months, according to estate agent City Residential.

The properties on Faulkner Street, one of the city’s last remaining cobbled streets, are being converted into four and five-bedroom homes.

Priced at £495,000, there will be 23 new homes at the Philharmonic Rise scheme, with a show home set to open in summer 2015, according to City Residential in its quarterly office report. Buyers have already snapped up six of the new properties released during the first phase of sales, says the agent.

The report says: “The scheme involves the upgrading of a stunning terrace of properties located on Falkner Street into a range of four and five-bedroom homes. Whilst much of the character of these homes will remain they will benefit from a modern interior behind the beautiful Georgian façade whilst facing onto one of Liverpool’s last remaining cobbled streets.”

The homes are based in Liverpool’s Georgian Quarter and will be some of the highest-price city centre houses on the market when the conversion is complete.
