Organisers of Fusion Festival 2017 have announced they are donating 1,000 tickets to the men and women of Manchester’s emergency services and hospitals.

The two-day event, which takes place on Otterspool Promenade this September, will see Little Mix, Take That, Tinie Tempah and Ella Henderson all perform.

Alongside the ticket giveaway, Fusion Festival says it will be making a “substantial” donation to the ‘We Love Manchester’ appeal from this year’s profits.

Members of Greater Manchester Police and Manchester’s NHS workers and their families can apply for up to four tickets each.

Last year’s event, which was the first Fusion Festival in the city, saw thousands flock to Aigburth to enjoy the likes of Jason Derulo, Olly Murs and Busted.
