The last remaining spaces are available for this year’s Liverpool Sleepout.

The event, organised by Merseyside charity The Whitechapel Centre, will take place in the grounds of Our Lady and Saint Nicholas Church and is raising money for the city’s homeless population.

Now into its third year, the sleepout on 14 October is also aiming to increase awareness of the issues faced by the homeless population who sleep rough on the city’s streets.

Fundraisers are being encouraged to join up in teams of family and friends for the sleepout which will be held in a safe area on The Strand with stewards and access to toilets and refreshments

All participants must be 18 or over and must register in advance.
