Liverpool City Region consortium awarded share of £1.3bn ‘Warm Homes’ funding

The government has revealed the successful local authorities and housing associations that have secured ‘Warm Homes’ funding to retrofit social housing.

A total of £1.29 billion has been offered to retrofit social housing across 144 projects under ‘Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund Wave 3’. This includes funding offered for 17 Strategic Partnership projects and 127 Challenge Fund projects.

As a strategic partner, the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority’s (LCRCA) consortium of councils and housing associations has been awarded £48,090,405 to fund retrofit projects aimed at improving home energy efficiency across the LCR.
