A popular Liverpool hot dog specialist is planning to open a new restaurant on Lark Lane.
Meet Frank, which began as a street food stand in 2013, wants to launch its first standalone eatery on the well-known South Liverpool street.
Known for its gourmet hotdogs with elaborate toppings, Meet Frank popped up in Baltic Market in September 2017 after a residency at the nearby Ghetto Golf.
Tim Haggis, owner of Meet Frank, has now submitted plans to Liverpool City Council for the change of use of a former off-licence on Lark Lane into a restaurant.
According to the planning application, the “modest” new venue would include an outdoor roof terrace and provide a “new, exciting and desirable dining destination for the lively locality”.
The application adds that the restaurant would provide just under 50 covers and employ seven members of staff.
