Liverpool restaurants to launch home delivery service

Liverpool’s top restaurants will soon be able to deliver to people’s homes, after a new service was launched in the city.

Deliveroo, which operates in a number of other UK cities, has launched a Liverpool service, with restaurants such as Lucha Libre, Lunya, Maray, Carluccios, GBK, Barburrito, Slims Pork Chop Express, Rookwood BBQ and CAU signed up for the service.

The service, which serves a fixed £2.50 fee per delivery, says it can deliver food from its selected restaurants in an average of 32 minutes and has now opened in Liverpool.

William Shu, CEO and founder of Deliveroo, says: “We’re really excited to launch into another area of the North West, now offering the residents of Liverpool the chance to have high quality food from local independent and chain restaurants delivered direct to their doors.

“Until now, food delivery services in the city have not catered for those who want to enjoy premium restaurant-standard dishes in the comfort of their home or office. Deliveroo changes this.”

Deliveroo already operates in London, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham and other UK cities. The service operates from noon to 11pm every day and typically minimum orders are £15.
