Pop-up café to serve up free food in return for kindness

Liverpool foodies can receive a free lunch in return for kindness when a pop-up café arrives in the city.

Free-from, plant-based food brand Gosh! will be serving up delights including sweetcorn and quinoa bites and sweet potato pakora to anyone who pledges a kind act.

The Gosh! Kindness Café will be setting up in Liverpool ONE from 24-25 August following recent successful visits to London and Dublin.

Free plant-based food will be served to the café’s kind visitors.

A spokesperson for Gosh! says: “Gosh! is founded on the philosophy that we should be kind to our bodies, only eating real, harm-free and wholesome ingredients that mother nature provides. We want to extend that message and way of life to everyone, engendering a kinder way of life to fellow humans and animals.

“Whether you pledge to volunteer at a homeless shelter, pay a stranger a compliment, or even just pledge to be nicer to fellow commuters at rush hour, come down to our café, add your promise of kindness to our pledge wall, and enjoy some beautiful food on us, just remember.”

The café will be open from 11am until 3pm during the two days.
