A group of Liverpool property professionals will be showing off their baking skills today (13 November) in a bid to boost funds for BBC’s Children In Need.
Staff from estate agent Abode’s Crosby and Allerton branches as well as housing developer Forth Homes will be serving up their own cake creations in return for donations for the annual fundraising appeal, which helps projects for disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
Directors’ children have also contributed to the selection of culinary delights at the bake off event, which will see the team selling the treats to colleagues, friends, customers, other local businesses and passers by throughout the day.
Meanwhile staff will also be making further donations to the cause in addition to cake sale proceeds.
A spokesperson for the fundraisers says: “The whole team is really excited about the bake off and hopes to raise lots of money for a much needed cause.”
This year’s Children In Need appeal is calling on the public to be a ‘hero’ ahead of tonight’s annual fundraising BBC One show.
