West Derby restaurant Almond unveils new look

Almond Restaurant & Bar has unveiled its new look following a five-figure sum investment.

The West Derby Village eatery has doubled in size following the acquisition of the second floor of 16 Mill Lane.

As part of the expansion, the venue now features an increased capacity of 70 covers and has created four new jobs and a chef apprenticeship.

Almond managing director Kate Dunn says: “Since opening in 2009, we have continued to develop our prominent stance in the ever-growing Liverpool food scene. With that in mind, we felt that it was the perfect time to expand and upgrade our space, in order to cater for the increased demand from guests spanning across the North West.

“We are looking forward to welcoming existing customers and new faces alike to our fresh new look restaurant and our second floor, we are delighted with the new space which has captured the atmosphere that everybody loves about the place. The second floor will also allow us to further accommodate room hire requests and private dining for a range of occasions including birthdays, corporate events and Christmas parties.”
