Raggas plans Bold Street restaurant

Legendary Liverpool Caribbean restaurant Raggas is opening a new branch on Bold Street, it has announced.

The eatery, which promises a Caribbean ‘experience’ with its food, will open on the city’s independent food hub and is hiring staff for the new venture. The Bold Street venue will be the popular restaurant’s third location alongside Smithdown Road and Lark Lane Raggas Cafes.

The family-run business was set up in 2006 and serves food from the Port Antonio area of Jamaica on the North East of the island. The restaurant has a successful takeaway and catering arm to the business alongside its thriving restaurants.

The new Bold Street Raggas Cafe is hiring part time staff and CVs can be emailed to jobs@raggas.co.uk.

Bold Street has seen a number of new eateries open in recent weeks including Indian street food specialist Mowgli, while fish and chip shop Johnny English will open its door at the end of January.
