Outdoor clothing and equipment retailer Jack Wolfskin is set to open a new standalone store in Liverpool ONE.
The German brand, which sponsored Liverpool FC until the end of the 2015/16 season, will open its doors in October.
The 3,216 sq ft unit will be one of just eight standalone Jack Wolfskin shops in the UK – joining a branch at Cheshire Oaks here in the North West.
The new store further underlines what has been a good year for Liverpool ONE with The White Company and Bravissimio both signing on at the shopping complex, alongside the opening of Victoria’s Secret on South John Street.
Paul Nicholson, associate director in the retail team at Savills, the agent which represented Jack Wolfskin in the deal, says: “As former sponsor of Liverpool FC, Jack Wolfskin has strong ties to the city and a loyal local following.
“We are therefore very pleased to have secured one of its first parent company stores in the North of England in Liverpool.”
