Liverpool’s BE Property Services has been showing its support for Marie Curie during a fundraising marathon football event.
The agent backed a recent Match for the Day (MFTD) 24-hour match at Aigburth’s IM Marsh sports hall, which helped raise more than £10,000 for the cancer charity.
Now into its third year the challenge was organised by brothers Paul and Dave Hughes, who were inspired to help the cause after it provided care for their mother during a battle with cancer.
BE Property sponsored the MFTD programme, along with the shirts team players wore throughout the five-a-side match.
In addition to the 24 core squad members, around 120 people played some part in the match.
Victoria Beilin, property manager at BE Property Services, says: “It’s great to sponsor such a great cause and to support a local event.
“It’s amazing how much has been raised for Marie Curie and it would be brilliant if people could continue to give whatever they can.”
