Everyman announces full rep company line-up

The Everyman has revealed the full line-up of actors for its first repertory company since the 1970s.

Richard Bremmer, who played Voldemort in the first Harry Potter film, is among the roster of performers who will serve as the theatre’s in-house team.

Talent with Merseyside connections is well represented in the line-up, with Pauline Daniels, Laura Dos Santos, Zelina Rebeiro, Keddy Sutton and Liam Tobin among the ranks.

Other members of the company include 19-year-old Elliott Davis, Emily Hughes, George Caple, Melanie La Barrie, Dean Nolan, Patrick Brennan, Tom Kanji, and Asha Kingsley.

The team aims to replicate the success of the Everyman’s famous in-house line-up of the 1970s, which included high-profile stars such as Julie Walters, Bill Nighy and Jonathan Pryce.

Gemma Bodinetz, Everyman’s artistic director, says: “By having a rep company we’re creating a family that can really respond to the city, who will create a conversation with our audiences and will together create vibrant, vital work.

“There’s such a rich mix of experience and new talent, of performers from this city and those new to it, all of whom are extraordinary in their own way and I’m so excited to see them come together next year.”

The Everyman’s rep company will appear in performances of ‘Fiddler on the Roof’, ‘The Conquest of the South Pole’, ‘The Story Giant’, ‘The Sum’ and ‘Romeo & Juliet’ during the forthcoming season.
