A takeaway chain which specialises in falafel dishes could be heading to Liverpool city centre.
GO Falafel, which has three Manchester restaurants and one in Preston, also serves up hummus, tabbouleh, salad boxes and fresh juices.
The chain now wants permission to convert the former Timpson shoe repair shop on Richmond Street into its fifth UK branch.

A planning application submitted to Liverpool Council by GO Falafel director Rajab Shamallakh says the new eatery would create eight jobs.
According to its website, GO Falafel is “proud” that all of its food is completely vegan and says it takes “great care in making sure there is only vegan produce” in its kitchens.
