Hillyer McKeown begins residential property expansion

A significant expansion of law firm Hillyer McKeown’s residential property team is underway at its Liverpool office, after increased confidence in the North West property market.

A total of 20 new members of staff were due to have joined across the company’s bases in the city as well as Chester and Wirral between September and December 2015, with further recruitment in the pipeline for early 2016.

Steve Harvey, managing partner of Hillyer McKeown, says: “We are in the middle of a major programme of investment which has seen new offices opening in Chester and Liverpool, together with a recruitment drive to bring on board talented, ambitious people who are committed to delivering unrivalled client service.

“Our residential property department is growing rapidly and we are keen to hear from solicitors, paralegals, conveyancing executives and legal assistants interested in joining our team.”

A key appointment is Tricia Lonorgan, who joins as head of operations in residential conveyancing having amassed more than 25 years of experience in the sector.

Steve adds: “Tricia has a proven track record of building successful residential conveyancing teams. She believes in the importance of providing the best possible client experience achieved through putting in place rigorous processes and procedures.”
