Liverpool Tattoo Convention 2015 aims for visitor record

Liverpool Tattoo Convention is hoping to attract over 6,000 people to the Adelphi Hotel, as it returns for an eighth year at the Ranelagh Street venue.

The event aims to beat last year’s visitor figure, as a host of tattoo-related activities are planned for the convention on 15 to 17 May 2015. The event includes over 250 tattoo artists, live music, performances, market stalls and food and drink, as well as fire shows, burlesque performers and local live bands.

A spokesperson says: “Last year’s show was a huge success with 6000 people enjoying the festivities and setting record attendance numbers in the process. The 2015 show is set to bigger and better, jam packed with more artists, more traders, and more entertainment.”

Liverpool Tattoo Convention is seen as one of the biggest UK tattoo events and will host the UK Tattoo Industry Awards in 2015. The 2015 event also sees the return of Artists’ Day, giving artists a chance to tattoo each other. It is followed by an Artists’ Evening of live music and entertainment.

Tickets for Liverpool Tattoo Convention are on sale now. Advance tickets are priced at £18 and door tickets are £20.
