Lomond has continued its strategic expansion across the UK’s private rental sector with the acquisition of Liverpool-based lettings and estate agency Homesure.
Homesure is a well-established name in Liverpool’s property market, operating from three city locations with a 30-strong team managing more than 1,700 properties across Liverpool and its surrounding areas.
Founded in 2007 by Steven Kenny, Homesure grew steadily under the leadership of Kenny, Nick Stott, and Mark Loughnane, expanding organically and through five acquisitions since 2016.
Under Lomond’s ownership, Homesure will continue to operate under its existing brand, becoming the new regional hub in Liverpool, with oversight from Paul Clarke, Lomond’s chief revenue officer for the Midlands and the North West.
The acquisition strengthens Lomond’s presence in the North West, joining its growing family of regional brands. Homesure will continue to be led by the existing leadership team, with Nick Stott and Mark Loughnane remaining in place alongside the wider staff.
Paul Clarke says: “Lomond’s model of identifying exceptional businesses and preserving what makes them unique, while providing powerful behind-the-scenes support and additional benefits to staff and clients, will be showcased perfectly through Homesure. I’m excited to see the team continue to thrive as part of the Group.”
Mark Loughnane, company director at Homesure adds: “Nick and I are incredibly proud of the journey Homesure has taken so far. Our ethos, values and commitment to clients remain at the heart of everything we do.
“And crucially, that isn’t changing: Homesure is still Homesure. With Lomond’s backing, we’re ideally positioned to help clients navigate the new legislative landscape and continue to deliver outstanding service.”
