New Liverpool City Region homes for vulnerable adults completed

A new housing development for vulnerable adults with learning, mental health and physical disabilities has been completed in the Liverpool City Region.

Bryan Developments has worked in cooperation with Halton Borough Council and Halton Clinical Consulting Group (CCG) to deliver 12 apartments on Widnes Road in Halton.

Built by Fawley Construction, the Signature House rental development supports wider measures which are being carried out across Halton to provide the best living environments for vulnerable and disabled adults.

The 52 sq m homes incorporate special features including full assisted technology and wet rooms and also benefit from an on-site 24-hour care provider and a full double security entry system with CCTV.

Rob Bryan, director of Bryan Developments, says: “It is so important that there is a high standard of housing stock which caters for those with specific requirements who wish to live independently in a property for life.

“With the support of Halton Borough Council and Halton Clinical Commissioning Group, the new development provides integrated housing, health and social care provision for residents and has created a new community for the local area. The homes have been incredibly well received so far and I have been delighted and uplifted by the reaction of the tenants who we will shortly be welcoming into their homes.”

The new homes have been fully furnished by Liverpool-based Elaine Cunningham Design Studio.
