Get Ready for the Weekend in Liverpool
Family Fitness Day, Ed Gamble and more
16-17 February | Curated by Natasha Young
Active fun at Family Fitness Day
Grab your bike and book a place online for a free guided ride through Sefton Park on Sunday (17 February), led and organised by British Cycling-trained ride leaders.
Or enjoy free indoor and outdoor exercise classes and activities for all around Sefton Park Palm House between 12-4pm, with sessions ranging from ‘active bingo’, singing and yoga to Nordic walking and tennis.
Still tickets to see Ed Gamble
Stand up star Ed Gamble is heading to Liverpool’s Epstein Theatre on Sunday (17 February) with his new show ‘Blizzard’.
It follows a sellout national tour in 2017 for Ed, who has become a regular on our screens with appearances on shows including BBC Two’s ‘Mock the Week’, and he also hosts hit food themed podcast ‘Off Menu’ alongside fellow comedian James Acaster.
Local artists’ creations on display
Celebrate the work of emerging Liverpool City Region artists with a visit to the newly launched Knowsley Open Art Exhibition.
The 18th edition of the showcase at Kirkby Gallery features pieces by artists of all ages who live, work and study in the borough, and you can vote for your favourites to win prizes.
