A party celebrating the summer solstice will take place in Constellations on 26 June.

Organiser Babylon has lined up a day of music, BBQs, face and body painting, masseuses, confetti balloons and inflatables.

The event, described as having a “carnival come festival” atmosphere, is Liverpool’s first but follows the success of events held across London and Cardiff last year.

Resident Babylon DJs are lined up to play music from house to reggae to funk and soul with more music announcements still to be made.

Over 6,000 people have expressed interest in the event and with 75% of tickets already sold it’s expected to be a sell-out.

Tickets are £14 each.
