Eye-catching YM Liverpool branding unveiled

We’re delighted to reveal the eye-catching branding which will lead Liverpool’s well-established and most widely read magazine into a new era.

We’ve had some fantastic feedback from you so far following our announcement that the ever-popular Your Move magazine will make the bold transition to become the monthly YM Liverpool.

Since 1999 the trusted publication has been your magazine, here to celebrate your city of Liverpool and keep you up to date with its landmark moments and exciting growth.

The move will see our print edition, alongside our ever-growing online and social media platforms and regular e-newsletters, continue to bring you Liverpool City Region-focused independent, quality content behind a strong identity which truly encapsulates what it represents.

Our new-look branding, which is becoming prominent across our digital platforms and will hit Liverpool’s streets on the cover of our April issue (out on 23 March), follows months of work by our creative and editorial teams alongside publishers.

Mark Iddon, YM Liverpool’s graphic designer, says: “The exciting changes being made to the publication brought an opportunity for us to truly shout about Liverpool in our branding as much as we do across our editorial content. It was therefore integral that we made the city itself stand out as much as the more familiar ‘YM’.”

Natasha Young, editor of YM Liverpool, adds: “We’ve been overwhelmed by the positive response we’ve received so far to the magazine’s new name and branding.

“Unveiling the new look to our long-established, loyal audience is the final step before the first issue of YM Liverpool comes out, and we believe it perfectly visualises what the publication is about.

“We’re confident that as the print and online magazine moves into a new phase as YM Liverpool, it’ll be a stronger than ever platform to keep you up to date on the thriving Liverpool City Region as a destination to live, work and visit.”
