A pop-up art exhibition in Liverpool ONE will allow shoppers to speak to and see the artist in action before buying the work.

ONEart, a group of local independent artists, will host 15 artists in a pop-up store in Liverpool ONE across six weeks. The artists will create their work in-store and buyers can visit the exhibition to view the work and meet the artists themselves.

Katherine Caldwell, who founded ONEart along with Freida McKitrick and Karen Edwards, says: “ONEart is a very exciting new addition to the Liverpool ONE shopping complex showcasing local independent artists. You will be able to chat with the artists who created the pieces available to purchase, and, even get to see us at work in-store. We are so excited about this opportunity and can’t wait to open our doors and invite people in to share in the experience”.

Art pieces confirmed for the store include watercolour greetings cards, dot paintings by Clare Ellis and prints from an Adana letterpress.

The pop-up art store will open its doors on 23 April.
