Africa Oyé after parties will be held at The Magnet, The Kazimier Garden, 24 Kitchen Street and Envi, organisers have announced.
The celebration of African music, food and drink and culture takes place in Sefton Park on 20-21 June and several after parties have been announced once the main festival has ended.
All four after parties take place on Saturday 20 June, with some going on until 7am. The Magnet after party will take place from 9pm to 7am and a percentage of door proceeds will go towards Africa Oyé . Highlights include Jame 3:26, Steve Cobby, Phil Cooper, Ste Hodge and Zacharia Soul.
Meanwhile, The Kazimier Gardens will open from 8pm to midnight with a £2 suggested donation going towards Africa Oye. Bolts & Holmzee will provide pan-African sounds in the outdoor venue.
24 Kitchen Street will be focusing on dancefloor fillers including Afrobeats, Dancehall Reggae, Kuduro, UKG, Soca, House, Hip-Hop and more. The fourth venue, Envi, will open from 10pm until 5am and will host live DJs through the night.
The official after parties will follow the main event, which is expected to attract thousands to Sefton Park to see headliner Omar as well as craft stalls, food and drink, dance and music at the free event.
