The fifth annual Threshold Festival gets underway in the Baltic Triangle on 27 – 29 March and Capstan’s Bazaar has signed up for a special event as part of the festivities.
The urban market will appear at the festival for the first time on Sunday 29 March at Constellations, where stalls featuring produce, arts, crafts, vintage home wares and more will be on offer to visitors. The latest event is the first Bazaar of the year and will take place as live music and DJs descend on the city fringe area for the Threshold Festival.
Founder of Threshold, Chris Carney says; “I am really excited to have Capstan’s Bazaar involved in Threshold Festival this year. We’ve been big fans of their events since way back. I just hope I get the opportunity to have a browse on the day!”
The three-day Threshold Festival will feature acts such as Nubiyan Twist, Eliza Shaddad, The Baltic States, Akala, Mr. Woodnote and Buddha vs SneakBeats in venues such as Constellations, District, Unit 51, 24 Kitchen Street, Baltic Social and Lantern Theatre. Threshold Festival is now in its fifth year as an event and its 2014 offering showcased 250 artists in total.
Entry to Capstan’s Bazaar events is free of charge and it opens from 11am-5pm. It will return to Constellations on Sunday 26 April for Capstan’s Does Spring and on 31 May for A Celebration of Screen Printing and DIY Art.
