A car wash and valeting site in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle could be converted to make way for a mix of commercial uses.
Occupiers ranging from shops and food and drink establishments to leisure attractions and other businesses could potentially head to the Jamaica Street building if new plans are given the go-ahead.
Christianson North West Limited has applied to Liverpool City Council to alter, refurbish and change the use of the building, which is located on the corner of Jamaica Street and Brick Street, to allow a mixture of commercial uses.
Liverpool architect practice MgMaStudio has been working on the plans, and a document within the planning application suggests the existing building would be retained, with a new roof as well as openings and partitions to facilitate the conversion.
A main entrance would be anchored by a new café, and there would be commercial spaces across the ground floor as well as the first floor.
