A host of original electronic music pioneers will return to Liverpool’s Cream in October, as the world renowned club bids farewell to its spiritual home, Nation.
Following the recent news that the iconic Wolstenholme Square venue will be closing its doors at the end of this year, making way for a new venue to be built on the same plot, Cream has revealed three classic line-up events to provide a suitable send off for the clubbing mecca.
Grand Finale PT 1 will take place on 17 October, followed by Grand Finale PT 2 on 24 October to coincide with Cream’s 23rd birthday celebrations and then a third party on Boxing Night (26 December).
The 17 October event will see performances from big names including Paul Oakenfold, Pete Tong, Roger Sanchez, Timo Mass, Seb Fontain, Dave Seaman, Darren Emerson, Jeremy Healy and more across the club’s three rooms.
Then on 24 October, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike will be headlining the event with further names including Danny Howard, Watermät, Carnage, Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano to name a few.
The line-up for the final part on Boxing Night is still to be announced.
Tickets are on sale from 10am on Friday 4 September.
