Liverpool Farm Feast is back this weekend (13 – 14 June) with home-grown food, drink and music on the menu.

The two-day festival at Claremont Farm celebrates all things local, and aims to showcase some of the best producers and local musicians that Merseyside has to offer.

The Ship & Mitre and Beer & Cider Festival will be returning to the event, along with over 50 local producers selling food and drink.

British baker John Waite, 2012 Great British Bake Off winner and resident chef on ITV’s Lorraine, has also signed up for the festival, alongside founder of Mowgli in Liverpool, Nisha Katona, who will be sharing recipes at the event.

Liverpool band The Farm will headline this year’s Farm Feast with a selection from their back catalogue, which includes eight top 49 hit singles. They will be joined by Merseyside acts including The Ragamuffins and Paddy Clegg.

There will also be a Little Feasters zone for children, including a bird of prey display, cupcake decorating and pizza making.

Andrew Pimbley, Farm Feast Festival director, says: “My ambition for Farm Feast was to always celebrate everything that’s local and from the region so food, drink and music. It’s celebrating everything that makes us happy and healthy from the community around us. We’re a unique festival in the heart of the Wirral countryside. It’s over 30 years that we’ve had the farm shop here in Bebington so we’ve fed a generation of people who’ll probably be bringing their own children to Farm Feast this year.”
