An Irish-inspired bar and grill will open on 11 December at the Sefton Park Hotel as part of the latest round of refurbishments at the South Liverpool venue.

O’Connor’s is the brainchild of chief executive Conor O’Donovan and includes a green and black colour scheme, seating areas inspired by ‘home comforts’ and a flame grill serving steaks, ribs, burgers and fajitas. It will also offer afternoon tea and traditional Sunday roasts.

Conor says: “I have been at the hotel for more than three years now and following the success of the rebrand that took place last year, it felt only right to revamp our in-house restaurant and bar. The objective is for the essence and attributes to flow throughout the entire ground floor of the venue, whilst adding in hints of Irish heritage in the bar and dining area.

“We hope that the new restaurant and bar receives a great response from the public during its grand unveiling. Although our branding has been defined and the interior modernised, our ethos in proving first class food and drink will remain consistent throughout everything we do.”

The restaurant will open its doors from Thursday 11 December and it will stage an official launch on Thursday 18 December.
