Sedulo and Adaptable launch new women’s networking group in Liverpool

Sedulo, one of the fastest-growing mid-tier financial advisory firms in the UK, officially launched its new women’s networking initiative, ‘Setting the Table’, on Thursday (21 November) in Liverpool.

The event, which was run in partnership with the recruitment company Adaptable, brought together influential female business leaders from across the country, as well as a distinguished panel of experts, to discuss and champion the role of women in the workplace.

‘Setting the Table’ took place at Sedulo’s Liverpool office and featured a lively panel discussion hosted by Cathryn Wright, Sedulo’s managing director. The panel included notable industry leaders:

  • Zeri Cheetham-Karcz, iGD Sport brand director and Waterloo Road actress
  • Jacey Normand, BBC presenter and communications expert
  • Louise Garforth, business development and marketing consultant

Sedulo says the creation of ‘Setting the Table’ reflects its “ongoing dedication” to driving meaningful conversations and initiatives for gender equality in the workplace.

Cathryn Wright says: “Sedulo and Adaptable have always been aligned in championing women in the workplace. We were delighted to launch our new initiative ‘Setting the Table’.

“‘Setting the Table’ will regularly create spaces where women and their allies can share networks, experiences, and challenges to create more inclusive and collaborative working environments for everyone – watch this space! We’d like to thank our panellists and guests for a really productive and insightful launch event.”

The event was attended by businesswomen, entrepreneurs, and professionals from across the UK, all eager to engage in dialogue about the challenges women face in business and to explore ways of creating more equitable workplaces. ‘Setting the Table’ will serve as a recurring platform for fostering collaboration, networking, and growth among women and their allies in business.
