Over 1,800 bands applied to play at the Baltic Triangle event, which showcases grass roots and emerging arts since its inception in 2011.
The 2015 Threshold Festival takes place on 27-29 March and organisers says the first 10 acts are the first in what will be a long list of Merseyside’s up and coming in music, arts, performance and workshops.
Threshold Festival is now in its fifth year as an event and its 2014 offering showcased 250 artists in total. Born of an idea by husband and wife duo Chris & Kaya Herstad-Careny, the festival joins up the best of independent venues in the creative Baltic Triangle, including Unit 51 Coffee, and The Baltic Social, with the creative arts in Liverpool.
Advance tickets are available now for the festival.
