A new vegan-only restaurant aims to open in the new year after plans were submitted to expand its Brunswick Dock site.
First launched in June this year by co-founders Paul Hampson and Dario Curcillio, GIVE Kitchen offers fresh vegetarian, vegan and plant-based whole foods through its online delivery service.
Blok Architects are currently designing the new restaurant, which will serve plant-based meals free from animal derived products and will also act as an ‘Inspiration Centre’ to educate visitors about the environmental and sustainability issues surrounding animal agriculture and the benefits of a healthy plant based diet.
Co-founder Paul, says: “We are looking to provide an inspiring centre for a community, not just a restaurant. Not only will we serve delicious and healthy, vegan food, we will raise awareness around global and environmental issues in a creative yet educational way. We want to make people feel that they are contributing towards giving back and enlightening themselves each time they visit.”
Experienced restauranteur and co-founder Dario adds: “We are really excited to launch our new venture, and for the chance to offer a wide range of delicious, plant based, wholefood meals, bursting with flavours from around the world. We want our visitors to leave feeling fulfilled, inspired, fun and looking forward to coming back!”
The new GIVE Kitchen restaurant will be a one for one giving company, which means for every meal purchased, GIVE will donate a fresh meal to a homeless shelter.
